Artist Biography:
Christina Fitch has a Master of Fine Arts in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design. She graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. Fitch is a mixed media, figurative artist. She has taught high school visual art for twenty-four years and is currently teaching at Timber Creek High School in Keller ISD. She resides in North Richland Hills, TX. Christina’s artwork explores events from the past, some from her own memories and others from history. Experiences captured in photographs and the memories they produce yield both despair and joy. Life can be defined by memories and how they are processed. This series draws inspiration from

Abstract Expressionist Painter
For me, art is the fullest expression of my personality, the outer workings of the inner musings being released onto canvas. Working in an abstract expressionistic style, each painting has a unique and one-off character to it. Using different media for contrast and texture, I am drawn to bold colors that explode onto the canvas in an eruption of emotion and passion.
Working mainly in large scale abstract mixed media paintings, I create using many different mediums including Oil, Acrylic, Resin, Pouring Medium, Gold Leaf, canvas on canvas, and other repurposed materials. I am always looking for new ways to add depth and texture and mainly apply paint using a large palette knife to give a heavy impasto style texture. I also love working with repurposed materials such as leftover canvas scraps and house paints.
With a background in architecture, real estate and design, I blend my love for design with abstract artwork, creating modern and contemporary artwork that work in many different styles of homes and commercial properties.

Jill Malouf is self-taught abstract painter in Dallas, Texas.Her signature style is calming yet captivating art.
She was raised in the Texas Hill Country but didn't grow up knowing she would be an artist. Nor did she know that she’d first build a career as a criminal prosecutor and then business attorney.
She was always obsessed with design and creative arts.Later in lifeJillbeganpainting to unwind.She has an intense approach to her artwork, built upon ever evolving layers and spontaneous changes. She jokes that“no battle plan ever survives first contact with the enemy!”--one of her favorite expressions from her years of litigation.
After receiving numerous awards--including Best of Show’ and New Texas Talent’—she retired from law. She hopes to convey to others the sense of relaxation that she gets through painting
