The painting is crafted with a deck of playing cards with paint and paper to create a figure including colors of red, light shades of brown with shades of blue. Inspired by apprenticing at a tailoring shop in his teen years, much of his paintings are inspired by clothing design.
Working mainly with mixed media Artist Hunter Connor's paintings are rich in color and texture, imitating the textiles and cuts found in high end fashion. The clash of the strictness of the figures against an atmospheric background gives the viewer a focal point in the artwork they are viewing.Every painting has its own personality its carries that is unified through the techniques that Hunter G Connor uses in all his artwork.
